Rare 'butterfly' and three-pronged tidal bores appear on Qiantang River

On September 15, two rare tidal bores showed up on the Qiantang River in eastern China. Sandbars split the incoming tide, forming a butterfly-shaped cross wave and a three-pronged wave nearby.
