Turkish Ambassador to China Selçuk Ünal said that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a unique and innovative system that is attracting growing attention around the world. With a history of more than four decades of acupuncture exchanges, healthcare cooperation between China and Türkiye has deep roots. Türkiye also has a rich tradition of traditional therapies, including bloodletting and herbal medicine, providing valuable opportunities for mutual learning and exchange between the two countries. 

As a dialogue partner of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Türkiye looks forward to enhancing medical and healthcare exchanges with China, jointly advancing the development of innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies, and welcoming Chinese healthcare companies to explore investment and cooperation opportunities. Through closer collaboration, the two countries can strengthen health partnerships and contribute together to the advancement of global health.
