China launched the Zhuzhou Space Interstellar PIESAT-2 13-16 satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.

The satellites, carried by a Long March-2D carrier rocket, entered their preset orbits successfully.

This mission marked the 668th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
