This is a global music relay built around the Chinese folk song "Jasmine Flower." It began with a young American's viola and has since grown to include piano, cello, a children's ensemble, pipa, guzheng, yangqin, vocal harmonies, xiao, erhu and dizi. Today, the flute becomes the twelfth voice — clear and gentle, like wind through a window or the first light of morning. "Jasmine Flower" gains a new lightness and clarity.
