The World Climbing Series stop in Chongqing wrapped up on Sunday with host nation China's athletes celebrating a successful campaign, including gold in the women's speed relay and bronze in the men's event. Over three days of competition, the home team accumulated two golds, one silver and two bronzes.

In the women's speed relay, the duo of Fan Jingyue and Zhang Shaoqin exhibited their prowess to clinch victory in 12.97 seconds against Indonesia, successfully defending their championship title. Just a week earlier, they had claimed gold at the Guiyang leg in 13.18 seconds.

The men's speed relay saw China's second team, featuring Long Jinbao and Huang Jingjie, fight fiercely for bronze against Kazakhstan. Touching the top in 10.11 seconds, they earned their first World Cup medal as a pairing.

Meanwhile, in Saturday's mixed speed relay final, Mu Yujun and Ling Yongzhi triumphed to take gold for China. And during Friday's four-lane speed event, Zhang Shaoqin showcased her remarkable talent, snagging silver in a personal-best time of 6.30 seconds.
