What does China look like through the eyes of young Americans?

From tracing the legacy of Confucius in Qufu to walking through the Forbidden City and climbing the Great Wall in Beijing, around 100 students from 10 US universities are getting a closer look at China, its past and present.

Along the way, they are exchanging ideas with their Chinese peers, stepping into Beijing's robotics and autonomous driving scene, and seeing how tradition and innovation can exist side by side.

The Future Makers 2026 China-US Youth Tour for a Shared Asia-Pacific Future is more than a journey across cities. It is a chance to meet, talk, explore and discover what young people from two countries may have in common.
