In Guangxi's Peixiu Miao Village, for example, locals and tourists celebrated the festival by taking part in a relay race involving carrying rice stalks and catching rice-field ducks, as well as enjoying folk performances. In Jiangsu's Yizheng, the celebrations attracted large crowds to an exhibition and agricultural produce fair, where visitors took part in fun competitions. A harvest-themed activity was also held at a kindergarten in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, where pupils experienced rural culture first-hand and found happiness through labor.
