Chinese President Xi Jinping recently replied to students from 10 US universities who wrote to him after attending youth exchanges in China. Xi noted that he was delighted to learn that the students enjoyed a pleasant and memorable journey in China.

Axton Berry, a Columbia University student who participated in the visit to China and co-signed the letter to President Xi, said in an interview with China Media Group that continuous face-to-face exchanges and cultural interactions among youth help enhance mutual understanding and benefit bilateral relations. He added that he looks forward to the upcoming meeting between the heads of state of China and the US, hoping it will push for stronger cooperation between the two sides.
