A recent survey suggests a generational shift in American attitudes toward China, with younger Americans more supportive of engagement and cooperation. 
Recently, a group of nearly 100 young Americans from ten US universities has experienced that engagement firsthand. 
They met with Chinese peers and visited some of the country's most renowned heritage and advanced tech facilities. 
After the trip, they wrote to Chinese President Xi Jinping. In his reply, Xi encouraged young people from both countries to promote friendship. 
So, what happens when young Americans get to see China? CGTN reporter Feng Yilei spoke with them.
