The remarks follow Takaichi's speech at the UN General Assembly, where she promoted Japan's "peaceful nation" stance. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stressed on Wednesday that Tokyo's current policies, including denial of wartime history, military expansion, and attempts to revise the pacifist constitution, are threatening regional peace.
