Nearly 40 young American students and industry professionals have just been to south China's Hainan Province. 

They rode Sanya's Rainbow HighSpeed Rail. Some from UC Berkeley and UC Riverside shared their on‑camera impressions of the clean carriages, ID‑based paperless boarding and real‑time digital onboard systems. 

Drawing on their personal experiences, they discussed differing paths of transport infrastructure development in China and the US. 

These on‑site encounters help break stereotypes and serve as a people‑to‑people bridge for better US‑China understanding.
