French President Emmanuel Macron said during his address to the General Debate of the United Nations General Assembly on September 22 that what is happening in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is "a shameful spectacle for us all."

Macron said that if the international community remains unable to take effective action, it risks losing its credibility. Faced with the current Israeli-Palestinian situation, he stressed that the world cannot simply stand by and do nothing.
