China has delivered a customized version of its AI-powered meteorological early warning system to Nepal to help the country improve early warning and disaster response this week.

After the devastating mudslide last month, China has provided meteorological forecasting and early warning support to Nepal, including high-resolution, frequently updated products to support disaster relief, according to the China Meteorological Administration.

The administration also said this week that it will continue to work with Nepal on a sustainable, comprehensive package of solutions. It will also support disaster relief and emergency response in other developing countries in need.
