Jack Klumpp, an American who has lived in China for eight years, and Yao Baiji (Jonathan), a Chinese local who lived and studied in the US for years, team up and dive into Shanxi province's noodle scene. They discover an endless amount of noodle styles, recipes passed down through generations, and the local love of vinegar – even in "black vinegar Coke."
