Chinese President Xi this month replied to students from 10 US universities who wrote to him after visiting China as part of youth exchange programs. They told Xi about their good time in China, their love for Chinese civilization, and their wish for friendly ties between the US and China.

One of them, Johsue Cantu, a fourth-year at UC Riverside, just got back from Guangzhou and spoke to CGTN. He says the program bridges the gap between young people in the two countries.
