Humanoid robots danced alongside human dancers at the opening ceremony of the 48th WorldSkills Competition in east China's Shanghai on Tuesday.

The performance featured China's new-generation humanoid robots and was the world's first autonomous group dance performed by full-size humanoid robots.

The event brings together 1,385 competitors from 68 countries and regions to compete across 64 skill categories.
