At China Media Group's 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, a scroll depicting Wang Wei's painting Wangchuan Villa slowly unfurled as two performers sang the classic poem Autumn Evening in the Mountains. One glided through a lotus pond in a light boat, while the other sang softly from atop a small arched bridge – shimmering water, drifting melodies, and the poem's serene, pastoral beauty unfolding in gentle strokes.
