The China-proposed Global Governance Initiative has drawn support from nearly 160 countries and international organizations, with over 60 joining the Group of Friends of Global Governance, according to the white paper "More Just and Equitable Global Governance: China's Principles, Proposals and Actions" released by the State Council Information Office in June.

China has dispatched over 50,000 peacekeepers across 29 UN missions and fields an 8,000-strong standby force.

It is a major trading partner of over 160 countries, with 24 free trade agreements, 23 pilot free trade zones, zero-tariff access for all diplomatic least developed countries and African partners, $15 trillion in goods and services imports during 2021–2025, and over $23 billion mobilized for development.

The country has built over 3,000 sister-city ties with more than 150 countries, grants unilateral visa-free entry to 50 nations, enjoys full mutual visa exemption with 29 countries and welcomed 30.08 million visa-free foreign visitors in 2025.

On climate, China has signed 55 cooperation documents with 43 developing countries, partnered on green energy with over 100 countries and regions, cut overseas carbon emissions by 4.1 billion tonnes through wind/solar exports, and mobilized 177 billion yuan (about $26 billion) in related funding since 2016.
