US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump greeted Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan as they arrived for a welcome banquet at the White House on Thursday.

Also present at the event were many well‑known figures, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang.
