Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday addressed a welcome ceremony hosted by US President Donald Trump at the White House.

Xi said he visited the US to carry forward friendship, expand cooperation, and promote the well-being of both peoples. China-US cooperation may not solve every problem in the world. However, without cooperation, it would be hard to solve many of the world's problems, he added.
