Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday called for translating the new vision of a constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability into action and creating a more stable, healthy and sustainable future for bilateral ties.

Xi made the remarks when meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House.

The new vision reflects the reality of China-US relations, embodies expectations for the future, and is an important step forward for the two countries to find the right way to get along, he said.
