The Kremlin said on Friday that a trilateral meeting between ‌the ⁠US, Russia and Ukraine aimed at ending ‌the four-and-a-half year ‌conflict in Ukraine could ‌happen soon.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr ‌Zelenskyy has said the meeting would be held at a technical ⁠level ‌and could take place in the United Arab Emirates.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said there were no further details to add for now. He also said that Kirill Dmitriev, Russia's presidential envoy, was ⁠in the United States, where he ⁠had been talking to US negotiators and focusing ‌on potential ‌economic cooperation.
