The Kremlin said on Friday that ​a trilateral meeting between ‌the ⁠US, Russia and Ukraine aimed at ending ‌the four-and-a-half year ‌conflict in Ukraine could ‌happen soon.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr ‌Zelenskyy has said the meeting would be held at a technical ⁠level ‌and could take place in the United Arab Emirates.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said there were no further details ​to add for now. He also said that Kirill Dmitriev, Russia's presidential envoy, was ⁠in the United States, where he ⁠had been talking to ​US ​negotiators and focusing ‌on potential ‌economic cooperation.
