Autumn paints Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area in splendid colors. In Fukang, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, blue skies, golden birches, dark spruces and red maples surround the sapphire lake, with snow-capped Bogda Peak reflected in the water.

On September 25, Mid-Autumn Festival, the scenic area received nearly 17,000 visitors and earned over 8 million yuan (over $1 million), both up 23% from last year's holiday. Visitors stroll the boardwalk and photograph the scenery, as ecological protection keeps the lake, forests, meadows and snow peaks in harmony.
