China's Jingpo knife dance is making waves in Nigeria, where audiences are getting a taste of this distinctive folk tradition through its martial-arts-inspired moves. The Nigerian performers rehearsed for a celebration marking China's Mid-Autumn Festival and upcoming National Day.

The performance, created by the Huaxing Art Troupe in Nigeria, is inspired by Munao Zongge, a traditional festival of the Jingpo people in southwest China's Yunnan Province. The dance blends traditional knife techniques with modern choreography, bringing a vibrant Chinese folk tradition to the stage in Nigeria.
