Minister of Energy of Ukraine: I held a meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. I expressed gratitude for the systematic support regarding nuclear safety in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. We highly value the continuous presence of IAEA missions at Ukrainian nuclear power plants and critical substations.We discussed the restoration of the New Safe Confinement at the Chornobyl NPP. We also appreciate the Agency's work in mobilizing international support. The Agency continues to provide Ukraine with necessary equipment; over 200 shipments worth more than €22 million have already been arranged. We thank our partners for this assistance!Special attention was paid to the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Key issues included ensuring a reliable, continuous external power supply for the plant and the safe, ongoing work of Agency experts at the site.
