The 2026 China International Confucius Cultural Festival and the 2026 Nishan Forum on World Civilizations opened on Monday in Qufu, Jining, east China's Shandong Province.

At the Confucius Research Institute, people dressed as Confucius and his disciples, offering a vivid glimpse into the world of the great Chinese philosopher more than 2,500 years ago.
