Tourism is booming on the newly opened Pinglu Canal in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region during the ongoing National Day holiday, which runs from October 1 to 7. During the holiday, tourists are taking boat tours to view waterways, navigation hubs and bridges while enjoying the scenery along the canal.
