Zelenskyy: 'German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz began his visit to Ukraine by paying tribute to the fallen Ukrainian defenders. We value this respect for our warriors and the solidarity shown to the Ukrainian people. It is significant that, during these challenging times, Germany stands by our side—both in support and in remembrance. Eternal honor to all the defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the sake of Ukraine and all of Europe.'
