China's AG600 "Kunlong" amphibious aircraft has completed a four-month forest fire prevention deployment in the country's northeast Heilongjiang Province, conducting 35 patrol flights, logging 100 hours of safe flight time and dropping around 390 tonnes of water. It also joined firefighting drills in the Greater Khingan Mountains, practicing coordinated air-ground operations and tackling crown fires.
