A public appeal submitted via the 12345 hotline raised concerns over potholes on roads in Jingyang District, Deyang, China's Sichuan Province, which hindered villagers' daily commutes while posing traffic-safety risks. After receiving the appeal, town and village authorities promptly conducted a joint on-site survey and formulated a special repair plan. The roughly 800-meter-long rural road is being upgraded with concrete pavement. The repair work is still underway and is expected to reopen to traffic by mid-October.
