From complaint to payment: 62 workers receive unpaid wages in 48 hours

A wage dispute involving 62 workers and more than 726,200 yuan (about $108,400) was resolved in less than 48 hours in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. On the morning of June 15, complaints came in through the 12345 service hotline and from workers in person, prompting an immediate response from the local human resources and social security bureau. Officials quickly coordinated with the project owner and contractor, verified the wage records and worked through the payment process. By the afternoon of June 16, the full amount had been transferred to the workers' accounts, allowing them to head home in time for the Dragon Boat Festival. For the workers, it was more than just a paycheck. It was a problem solved and a promise delivered.
