The People's Liberation Army Southern Theater Command said a Philippine C-208 aircraft illegally intruded into the territorial airspace over China's Huangyan Dao on October 3 without approval from the Chinese government.

The command said its naval and air forces tracked and monitored the aircraft and issued warnings to expel it in accordance with laws and regulations. It urged the Philippine side to immediately cease its rights violations and provocative acts.
