An infrared camera in central China's Henan Province has captured a rare moment: a leopard cat and a hog badger sharing the same patch of forest. A Chinese goral – a species highly sensitive to habitat quality – was spotted at the very same location while Reeves's muntjacs and wild boars were also recorded roaming the area. These sightings signal a healthy forest ecosystem. Years of habitat protection are giving wildlife the space and security they need to thrive.
