Steve Rattner: China's supply chain strength gives it more leverage

Steve Rattner said on Bloomberg's Wall Street Week that the first two and a half years of Trump's second term have shown that China holds more leverage. For US exports such as soybeans, China can find alternatives elsewhere, while for critical resources it sells to the United States, such as rare earths, the US has no easy alternatives. Rattner pointed out that China is essentially self-sufficient, with a complete manufacturing system, while the US remains heavily dependent on Chinese supply chains. He believes this experience has only highlighted China's industrial strengths and supply chain resilience. #GoodPoint
