A dance move from Shanghe County in Shandong, east China, has gone viral – and it's called "black bear shaking off its fur."
It's from Guzi Yangko, a heritage folk dance. What looks like a clumsy shake is actually controlled: steady footwork, rhythmic trembling and a surprising amount of core strength underneath.
The move's been copied all over social media. And the dance behind dates back over a thousand years but reached its peak during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) – still performing, still packed.
