Taicang South Garden was first built during the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty. It once served as the private garden for Wang Xijue, the grand secretary of the imperial cabinet. Pavilions are reflected in its clear waters, while covered corridors stand beside rock formations. This classical Chinese garden embodies the aesthetic spirit of the Loudong School of Chinese painting.
