More than 400,000 chrysanthemums are in bloom at the Xinjiang Agricultural Expo Park in Changji, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The 4.7-hectare garden features more than 1,000 varieties of chrysanthemums, drawing visitors to enjoy the autumn blooms. The exhibition recorded 63,500 visits during the holiday, up 19% from a year earlier. The park invested 2 million yuan (around $300,000) in improvements this year, adding floral displays, photo spots and camping areas. The flowers are expected to remain in bloom until mid-October.
