A long-range rocket artillery unit from an army brigade of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) recently conducted a live-fire exercise in northwest China's Gobi Desert. The exercise covered all operational elements and ran day and night, testing weapon performance and enhancing combat readiness. A drone scanned for targets and relayed their coordinates to command. Upon receiving the strike order, the artillery unit took cover in the terrain and prepared to fire.
