China and the EU held "professional and constructive discussions" on issues including trade and investment balances and export controls, reaching a series of consensus outcomes at the second meeting of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism, an official with the Ministry of Commerce’s Department of European Affairs said on Saturday.
Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic jointly chaired the second meeting in Beijing from Thursday to Friday.
