Wang Huning, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with Tran Thanh Man, chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, in Beijing on Sunday.
Wang said that China stands ready to work with Vietnam, following the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, and guided by the overarching goals characterized by "six mores," to advance high-quality and mutually beneficial cooperation across all areas and the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
The CPPCC National Committee is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Vietnamese side and contribute to each other's modernization efforts, he added.
Tran Thanh Man congratulated China on its achievements, noting that Vietnam firmly adheres to the one-China policy. The National Assembly of Vietnam stands ready to strengthen exchanges with China, enhance friendly interactions among all sectors of society and advance the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future, Tran Thanh Man added.
