City officials from around the world gathered in Luoyang, central China's Henan Province, from Friday to Sunday for the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue.

Representatives from China, Algeria, the UK, Greece and Kenya discussed how smart manufacturing and technological innovation can drive industrial transformation and urban development on Saturday afternoon.

Delegates also visited several of Luoyang's leading manufacturers to get a firsthand look at the city's industrial development.
