At least four people were killed after Hurricane Isaias made landfall as a Category 2 storm late Friday near Destin, Florida, the United States. As of midday Saturday, about 670,000 customers in Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi remained without power.
Footage from Pensacola showed fallen trees crushing homes and vehicles as crews cleared debris from damaged neighborhoods. Isaias later weakened to a post-tropical cyclone, but Florida officials warned that swollen rivers could cause further flooding in the coming days.
