One stitch at a time: How 25,000 li connects three generations

In Yudu, Jiangxi Province, retired PLA Senior Colonel Ge Jiangyang tells CGTN's Tian Wei about his father, Ge Jietiao. A Red Army soldier in 1934, Ge Jietiao was wounded and could no longer carry a rifle, but chose to stay with his comrades, using a hand-cranked sewing machine to mend their uniforms. Ge Jiangyang says his father's determination to keep moving forward is part of the legacy he passed down.
