China's top diplomat Wang Yi will attend the Seventh Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on October 15 as Special Representative of Chinese President Xi Jinping, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Monday.

Wang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will visit Azerbaijan, Croatia, Montenegro and Bulgaria from October 14 to 20, the spokesperson said.
