The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy on Sunday released a video showing a supertanker on fire after hitting a naval mine south of the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC said the oil tanker had deactivated its navigation systems and intended to exit the strait via an unauthorized route. 

According to the navy, the vessel was the third "violating" oil tanker since Saturday to hit naval mines in the strait's "unauthorized" route and catch fire.
