A 5-year-old child became trapped with her head caught between the bars of a sixth-floor window grille and her body suspended outside in Fanshi County, north China's Shanxi Province, on October 11. A passerby climbed up the building's exterior railings and stood on the fifth-floor railing to support the child with his body until firefighters arrived and helped bring her safely back inside.
