Located in Ganzhou City, east China's Jiangxi Province, Jiangnan Songcheng Historical and Cultural Tourism Area (also known as Songcheng Block) is a prominent national 4A scenic area. Ganzhou holds a pivotal place in Chinese history as a core starting point for the Central Red Army's Long March. In October 1934, the Red Army's main forces crossed the Yudu River here, taking the first step of their roughly 12,500-kilometer journey. Today, the area stands as a vital birthplace of the Long March Spirit and an enduring testament to China's Red heritage.
