Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Wednesday.

Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said China and Azerbaijan enjoy mutual understanding, trust and support, and that ties between the two countries have strong momentum and broad prospects.
