World's first ship-to-ship green ammonia refueling completed

The world's first ship-to-ship green ammonia refueling has been completed at an anchorage – a milestone for zero-carbon shipping. A 210,000-tonne ammonia-powered cargo ship received 1,000 tonnes of green ammonia from a dedicated bunkering vessel, eliminating the need for a deep-water port. The fuel came from the world's largest green hydrogen-ammonia project and was tracked across the entire supply chain. The ship will now sail across the Pacific to Australia for commercial operations, opening a new path for clean marine fuel supply.
